Stopa Family Bat-Shit Craziness: Gary Stopa Obtained An Emergency Restraining Order Against Sharon Stopa In 2003
It is pretty well established that Mark Stopa is bat-shit crazy. The Florida Bar has recognized it. The Florida courts have recognized it.
Anyone who has to deal with him in litigation or on a regular basis has also figured out that Mark Stopa is nuts. This would explain why he has never had many friends.
Ever since his days in law school, Stopa has been showing signs of serious mental illness. Don’t believe us? Read his book, People v. Money. It’s available for free on the Pinellas Clerk of the Court website.
Yes, his 830+ page manifesto is available for free. It was submitted as evidence in Stopa’s civil case against a Miami blogger. It’s case #2019-CA-8558-CI and the book is listed as Docket Entry # 247.
Unfortunately, Mark Stopa seems to be in denial about his mental illness.
But where does it come from? Well, now MarkStopaVictims.com suspects it comes from his mother, Sharon Stopa.
So, we need to ask. Is Mark Stopa’s erratic behavior a product of an abusive upbringing?
Or did he inherit his sociopathic tendencies from his mother?
In 2003, Gary Stopa Got An Emergency Restraining Order Against Sharon Stopa
On September 5, 2003, Mark Stopa’s father Gary filed for an emergency restraining order against his wife and Mark Stopa’s mother, Sharon. (Lee County Case #03-DR-007753).
Is this where Mark Stopa learned how to use the family court to get injunctions against his civil court opponents?
The court scheduled a hearing on September 11, 2003. Like all spousal abuse cases, the file is sealed. So we can only speculate why Gary Stopa sought an emergency restraining order against his wife.
However, the case moved pretty fast through the court. This would indicate Gary Stopa felt like his life was in danger.
Was Sharon Stopa acting violently like her son has a reputation of doing in courtrooms?
Did she pull a knife on Gary?
Did she have a substance abuse problem? Or was it mental illness?
What caused her Joan Crawford like behavior?
Whatever the cause, the restraining order stayed in effect for several months until the elder Stopas kissed and made up.
Did Sharon Stopa Beat Her Kids With Wire Hangars Like Joan Crawford?
Stopa indicated in his own failed manifesto People v Money that he had a rough childhood. He also wrote how his parents Gary and Sharon Stopa “moved around a lot.”
Vagabonds Gary and Sharon didn’t settle into a home in Fort Myers until the summer before Mark’s senior year of high school in 1993.
In his book, Stopa also hints that he was a victim of child abuse.
Anyone who has had any dealings with Mark Stopa can tell he’s a victim some type child abuse. It’s also painfully obvious that his home life as a child was severely dysfunctional. Did Sharon Stopa take parenting lessons from the Joan Crawford bio-pic, Mommie Dearest?
So, is there more to the story of Mark Stopa’s childhood that he is too embarrassed to share?
Was it Gary and/or Sharon who abused him?
Mark Stopa is obviously repressing some horrible secrets. Secrets will manifest themselves when Stopa is sent to prison.
Did Sharon beat Mark with wire hangars like Joan Crawford did to her kids?
Does Sharon Stopa suffer from mental illness. If so, is she self medicating with drugs or alcohol? Is her mental illness hereditary? Did she pass it on to Mark?
These very well may be the cause of Mark Stopa’s extreme anger management issues, erratic behavior and unhinged criminal activity.
